Murder Suspect In Custody After Man Found Shot To Death Inside Maryland Vehicle, Police Say

A week after a 33-year-old man was found shot to death inside a vehicle in Baltimore, police say that they've apprehended their suspect.

Montay Brown, 19, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection to a fatal shooting last week, authorities announced on Thursday.

Shortly after 4 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, officers from the Baltimore Police Department were called to the unit block of East 21st Street, where they found a man inside a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Paramedics were called to the scene and the man - whose name has not been released - and he was pronounced dead shortly after being discovered by first responders.

Brown was arrested on Wednesday, May 15, and taken to the Baltimore Central Booking Intake facility to be charged with first-degree murder and additional offenses.
